T. J. Oshie – McLean, VAG – $5.2 million
The Washington Capitals right winger T.J Oshie signed a $46-million deal in 2017, which meant that he’d be staying in Washington, D.C for eight seasons (and keeping his wealth management adviser busy). That explains why he could comfortably drop $5.2 million on a McLean, Virginia home as reported by the local news. The 7,505-square-foot five-bedroom house has six bathrooms, a media room, several fireplaces, a private office, an outdoor swimming pool, and other built-ins. The Washington Business Journal reported that Boston Properties vice president Ray Ritchey formerly owned the house. Ritchey bought the property back in 1994 for $675K.
