Zach Parise – Edina, MN – $2.8 million
Zach Parise extended a kind gesture to Minnesota Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk by letting him rent his Edina home. Parise just didn’t feel right that Dubnyk should have to shack up in a hotel with his wife and suggested that he should take up the multi-million dollar house that he wasn’t using. Parise’s charity shouldn’t come as a surprise, because he currently serves as the Minnesota Wild’s alternate captain in the NHL. His list of achievements includes serving as the American team’s alternate captain for the 2010 Winter Olympics and captain during the 2014 Winter Olympics. In 2016, Parise represented Team USA during the World Cup of Hockey. Given that Dubynk reportedly bought an Edina home for $2.8 million, we can conclude that Parise eventually sold him the property.
