Phoebe Cates, 59, Born In 1963 – “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”

Phoebe Cates is probably best known for her bikini-clad body for her role in the iconic ’80s teen flick “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.” Her part was described by Rolling Stone magazine as cinema’s most memorable bikini drop. It also opened doors for her, including making the cover of several teen magazines.

She would also have a role in the box office hit film “Gremlins” and return for the sequel “Gremlins 2: The New Batch.” She switched to theater, with a role in “The Nest of the Wood Grouse.” She returned to voice her Gremlins character in the “Lego Dimensions” video game in 2015 and runs a boutique in New York.
