Cassandra Peterson – Born in 1951

Best known for her portrayal of Elvira, Mistress of The Dark in the weekly movie presentation titled Elvira’s Movie Macabre. Inspired by Ann-Margrett, Cassandra was determined to achieve similar greatness. She signed a contract when she was only 16 and the rest is history. She has since then appeared in a number of productions such as Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, All About Evil, Allan Quatermain and The Last City of Gold, and others. Cassandra Peterson is 69 and retired now, although she is releasing an autobiography before this year ends.
