Since the 1980s, Alex Trebek has been hosting the popular game show called Jeopardy!. As of today, Trebek’s contract states that he will continue to host the show until 2022. Trebek once owned a cool mansion in Hollywood Hills which he had built from scratch back in the 1980s. The mansion was about 5,554 square feet and it came with four bedrooms. Trebek eventually sold the place in the 1990s but in 2013, the mansion was on the market again with a $3.9-million price tag. The most recent owners of the place apparently did a lot of redecorating.
Maggie Smith – $7.9 Million, West Byfleet

Maggie Smith’s acting career has been bringing her a ton of earnings for more than six decades now. The mansion in the photo above is not really Smith’s for it was actually the house of her Downton Abbey character named Lady Violet Crawley. On the show, it’s called Dower House but its real name is Byfleet Manor. The Manor was placed on the market in 2015 and it was later sold for around $7.9 million. Smith is set to play Lady Violet Crawley again in the upcoming Downton Abbey movie.
Lee Majors – $18 Million, Malibu

If you are looking for a place to rent in Malibu, then you might want to check out Lee Majors’ former cozy beach house. The place was made available for rent back in 2014 with a monthly rental rate of $72.5K. Someone bought the place from The Six Million Dollar Man star in 1991 for $4.95 million. By 2012, the beach house was sold to its new owners for $18 million. The house comes with five bedrooms, a media room, a tanning deck. Putting the place on the rental market is definitely a smart investment for the current owners of the place. Majors’ most recent role was in a TV movie titled, Bicycle.

The beautiful bohemian-cool actress, Lisa Bonet who is well-known as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show. Lisa secretly tied the knot with her oh-so-handsome husband, Jason Momoa who is famous for his role as the Aquaman in 2017. Nancy is the daughter of Frank Sinatra and she became a popular singer as well. She is best known for her song called These Boots Were Made for Walking. Ed Asner rose to fame back in the 1970s ever since he started starring in The Mary Tyler Moore Show as Lou Grant. Asner also starred in the character’s self-titled spin-off show. Back in 1996, Asner spent around $540K for a simple house in Studio City.

The furniture inside the house was far from modern but it gave the place a very homey vibe. Asner does not live there anymore because someone bought it from him for $1.3 million back in 2014. He then sold it for $1.9 million in 1999. The house has four bedrooms, a tennis court, and a saltwater swimming pool. This hit the market back in 2016 with an asking price of $3.45 million. Douglas’ most recent TV appearance was in an episode of Entertainment Tonight back in 2018.
Andrew Cuomo – $1.85 million, New York
Governors are supposed to live in mansions provided for them by the state in Albany, which has about 31 governors and their families. Still, that doesn’t mean they don’t have properties of their own. For example, New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo owned a large house worth over a million in Mount Kisco, recently sold.
Andrew and his longtime partner Sandra Lee lived in this house for more than a decade. It features four bedrooms and six bathrooms as well as a private gym and office. They sold the house for $1.85 million in December 2020, after their split.
