In some cases, obesity is fairly caused by means of inheritance and unfortunately for Caitlin Van Zandt, she fell under a similar category. Her mother suffered from obesity as well. The mother and daughter duo decided that surgery was best for them, and have both chosen to go through with a lap band procedure. Not even a year later, Caitlyn and her mother were spotted flaunting their new, slimmer figures! We’re not exaggerating when we say they both look almost unrecognizable now that they weigh 90 pounds less. Amazing!
