Bridget Jones’s Diary star Renee Zellweger originally listed her Connecticut home in 2011 for about $1.5 million. However, in 2014, the real estate property emerged back on the market with a $1.6 million asking price. Renee reportedly purchased the estate known as The Cotton Tavern in 2004. The house sits on 39 acres and features old fireplaces, a wood-paneled library, three bedrooms, and a one-bedroom guesthouse. The farmhouse also has a helicopter landing area. So with that and the fact that it belonged to a Hollywood star, it’s a bit surprising that it didn’t get sold immediately.
