Maggie Smith – $6.9 Million, West Byfleet

Seeing this 17th-century house in West Byfleet might ring some bells, after all, it was featured in the Downton Abbey series. Although it wasn’t actually owned by Maggie Smith, her character, Lady Violet did own it. The show came to an end in 2015 and was followed by the release of the movie with the same name. The house itself was last sold in 2015 for $6.9 million, over a million above its $4.6-million asking price! It’s apparently now open for public tea parties. Meanwhile, Maggie’s now expected to play in A Boy Called Christmas in 2020.
