Ann Blyth – 92
Ann was already a radio star at the small age of 6. Thanks to her mother who kept influencing her to sing, she became a Broadway delight, while she entered her teenage years. What was next? She started getting film offers and soon the talented lady signed a deal with Universal Studios. Her debut film was the teenage musical Chip Off the Old Block, where she got to work with Donald O’Connor and also Peggy Ryan.
But her role in the movie Mildred Pierce outshined her career, for which she was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. While her career was soaring, she suffered a back injury which paused her success. She soon made a comeback and showcased her acting skills in numerous movies. At the age of 89, we are glad that this golden age star didn’t opt for any artificial face and skin care treatment to cheat the age.
