Iris Apfel – 100, $25 Million

One look at Iris Apfel, and one would instantly get that she has a bright and colorful personality. Of course, that’s largely because of her eclectic sense of dressing. The businesswoman and interior designer became a fashion icon because of her unique personal style.

Apfel fell in love with fabrics as a young girl, so it’s not surprising that she and her husband Carl Apfel established the textile firm ‘Old-World Weavers’ in 1950. Their company’s biggest contract is probably that of the White House, as they’ve provided services to the residence for nine presidencies. The icon’s place in the fashion world cannot be questioned, especially when she was signed by IMG to become a model at 97 in 2019!
