Rita Coolidge – 76
Rita Coolidge’s career as a recording artist blew up during the 1970s going into the ’80s. Her music received widespread acclaim and on several occasions, her songs made it on the Billboard magazine’s jazz, pop, adult contemporary, and country charts. Alongside her former husband Kris Kristofferson, Coolidge earned two Grammys.
Coolidge revealed that despite their 1980 divorce, she still maintains a special bond with Kristofferson, who is also the father of her daughter Casey. Some of her well-known recordings include Higher and Higher and All-Time High which was the theme for the 1983 James Bond film. The last album she released came out in 2012 titled, A Rita Coolidge Christmas.
