Sidney Poitier – 94

An inspiration for many African-American actors, Sidney started off with theater and quickly moved to screen acting. One of the most notable performances that got him an Academy Award was in ‘Lilies of the Field’.

But he didn’t limit himself to acting and once he retired, he moved into direction, album recording and even tried his hand and luck as a diplomat. For all these and other achievements, Sidney became the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the British Knighthood. So now that he has a net worth of $25 million, he deserves every bit of it to plan retirement.
