Max Baer Jr. (Jethro Bodine) – 83

Vintage movie lovers might be familiar with the name Jethro Bodine, who is a character Max Baer Jr. played in The Beverly Hillbillies. He is currently the only surviving member of that TV show’s main cast. The 1949 Goldilocks and the Three Bears was his first acting role and afterward, he appeared on TV shows like Maverick, Cheyenne, and 77 Sunset Strip.

Baer attempted to redevelop a Carson City former Walmart location into a Beverly Hillbillies-themed casino and hotel in 2003. Owing to resistance, he sold the property and bought another parcel of land in Douglas County. However, due to ongoing court proceedings, the development halted indefinitely in December 2017.
