Thinking of Robert Fuller aka Laramie’s Jess Harper, this is what immediately comes to mind – gruff cowboys, shootouts, dry landscapes, and a deep, hoarse voice. From a stuntman to a leading star, the way he rose to stardom is something that seldom happens in modern Hollywood.

After a few years, though, the popularity of western films declined, and the actor turned to different genres, mostly performing guest roles on television during the eighties. It’s been a while since Fuller has taken retirement from acting but you can still spot him at a western event – if you get lucky!
