Yoko Ono – 88
Her defining moment was not her worldwide work as an American/Japanese peace activist, self-made artist, songwriter, performer, and producer (beginning in the 1960s); instead, she was made famous through her marriage to one of the lead singers of ‘The Beatles,’ John Lennon.
This seemingly small fact looms over the reputation Yoko was trying to build over her years, but now, many years after his death, she rests on the success of her own initiatives. Some of those initiatives include; the ‘LennonOno Grant for Peace’ and ‘Artists Against Fracking.’ She also kept and grew her own music career, releasing several songs including one titled, ‘Take Me To The Land Of Hell.’
