Betty Lynn – 93
As a child, Betty Lynn had a hard time when her father left her family and threatened to shoot young Betty. Her mother was a significant figure in her life and taught her the craft that would eventually become her career, singing. Betty started to work with the United Service Organization and traveled to several countries in hospitals and other grim institutions. When she was on the way back, Betty found her way to showbiz and appeared on both TV and Broadway. Her career is shaped by her appearance on The Andy Griffith Show.
