The royal drama we all needed, The crown is getting its extension for season five which is also said to be its final season as well. For its newest season, Imelda Staunton will be replacing Olivia Colman’s throne as the Queen.The series was originally envisioned to last six seasons, but creator peter Morgan has decided that ending the show with its fifth season would be best to preserve its quality. It is reported that the fifth season will bring its audience into the 21st century timeline and needless to say, we’re excited.
