Messiah – Cancelled

A show that has once sparked controversy and heated conversation on social media, Messiah’s reign proves to be short-lived as Netflix will not be proceeding with a new season. Albeit having a growing fan base, Messiah had to be taken down as it’d have required to be filmed in different countries, which is not recommended given the current pandemic the world is facing. Messiah centers around Mehdi Debhi, a mysterious man that would later be claimed by his supporters as the second coming of Jesus. Miracles and unexplained events follow him wherever he goes, which strengthens his influence among his believers.
