The iconic ’80s singer won over girls who just want to have fun with her colorful, edgy style and infectious pop melodies. Five of the songs from her first album, So Unusual, appeared on the Billboard charts. She became a pop star in no time with her hit songs such as Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Time After Time . However, in the 1990s, her career slowed down and she took a backseat.
