Lisa Whelchel became a very common name after her role in The Facts Of Life, the hit 1980s TV series. In addition to acting, she has also enjoyed a successful career as a musician and author. She came from a painful divorce, but the reason why she never became a confirmed actress. In more recent times, Whelchel is known for hosting a show called Collector’s Call.
