Shea Weber – Nashville, Canada – $1.85 million
Shea Weber, the Montreal Canadiens captain, and ice hockey defenseman has represented Canada in several International Ice Hockey Federation events. In 2005 and 2007, he won gold medals in the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship, and during the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics, he also won gold medals. Possibly with financial planning in retirement in mind, in 2009, Weber purchased a $1.05-million two-story home. The investment paid off because he finally listed the Nashville address with the Zeitlin & Co. Realtors for $1.85 million. The 7,387-square-foot home offers an exercise room fitted with a shower, a hot tub, refinished hardwood floors, a fireplace, wet bar, and seven wall-mounted televisions.
