Philip Michael Thomas, 74, Born In 1949 – Miami Vice

Before he became known as Ricardo Tubbs in the successful 1980s show “Miami Vice,” actor Philip Michael Thomas first made a name on Broadway, starring as “No Place to Be Somebody…” According to IMDb, music was his first passion even though he appeared in numerous plays, shows, and films.

Thomas released a few albums, including “Somebody” and “Livin’ the Book of My Life.”  He started to slow down in acting by the turn of the millennium and retired in 2011, according to TVOverMind. Unfortunately, we don’t know what he has been up to these days.
