Ed Asner rose to fame back in the 1970s ever since he started starring in The Mary Tyler Moore Show as Lou Grant. Asner also starred in the character’s self-titled spin-off show. Back in 1996, Asner spent around $540K for a simple house in Studio City.

The furniture inside the house was far from modern but it gave the place a very homey vibe. Asner does not live there anymore because someone bought it from him for $1.3 million back in 2014. Asner is already 89 years old today but he is still an active actor. He is set to star in an upcoming show titled Dead To Me.
