Elaine Lordan is a British actress who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Born in London, England in 1962, she began her career as a child actress in the late 1970s. Since then, she has had an impressive career spanning both television and film, appearing in shows such as Minder, Holby City, The Bill and Coronation Street.
Her most memorable role was as Lynne Hobbs on Coronation Street from 2000 to 2006, for which she won the National Television Award for Most Popular Newcomer. Elaine has also had various roles in other popular series such as The League of Gentlemen, Footballers’ Wives and Shameless.
Recently, she appeared in the BBC drama Doctors. With an impressive list of credits to her name, Elaine Lordan continues to be an active actress today.
