Bob Newhart first gained stardom from his comedy monologues back in the 60’s, named ‘The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart’. Following his comedic success, Newhart tried acting and his first role was in the TV show named after him, ‘The Bob Newhart Show’. Sadly, Bob suffered health issues related to his smoking habits during the high points of his career. However, Newhart persevered and landed roles in movies such as ‘Catch 22’, ‘Elf’, and ‘Legally Blonde 2’, Recently, you can spot Newhart in ‘The Big Bang Theory’.
