Actor Ed Asner reached fame with his performance as Lou Grant in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The performance netted him a spinoff show with the character he played, Lou Grant as the lead. Nowadays, Ed spends a considerable amount of his time with charitable organizations.

Asner still takes on roles today and hasn’t retired yet, while he was also a Screen Actors Guild president at one point. Asner also amassed over $10 million from throughout the decades. He married Cindy Gilmore in 1998. However, she filed for legal separation in 2007, and he then filed for divorce in 2015.
