Hardy Kruger’s life is one that can only be laid out in an autobiography. During WW2, the German actor was drafted into the Nazi SS squad. However, his refusal to obey to the commanding officers forced him to hide until the war was over. Today, he is one of Germany’s most acclaimed entertainers, having also appeared in global collaborative productions such as ‘Hatari!’ and ‘A Bridge Too Far’. His success allowed him to retire in the 80’s and now spends his time penning books. Kruger married Anita, his third wife, in 1978.
