Her songs, Midnight Train to Georgia, and That’s What Friends Are For have been number one in Billboard Hot 100. In 1989, she recorded for the Hames Bond, License to Kill theme song. Rolling Stone magazine named Gladys as one of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.
