Michael French – Now 59

Every triumph is hard work —and Michael French knows a thing or two about that. As he went to entertain in Majorca and toured with a small theater production for three years. When all failed, he packed his showbiz dreams and worked a day job. Opportunity took its sweet time with him before it knocked on his door.

After quitting British Airways, French studied theater arts. Freshly graduated, he landed in West Ends, ‘Les Misérables’ and one time while performing, caught the eye of ‘EastEnders’ talent agent. He was booked for David Wicks’s part and appeared in the acclaimed series from 1993 to 1996. His growing fame led to more casting offers in ‘Casualty’ and ‘Born and Bred’.
