Classic Italian actor Valentina Cortese acted in one of the most iconic films of all time, ‘Les Miserables’. She managed to land her role in the hit film after her impressive debut in 1940. Her great performance enabled her to a deal with 20^th Century Fox, which she signed in 1948, and an appearance in ‘Day For Night’ which granted her an Academy Award Nomination. Her contract with 20^th Century Fox greatly increased her wealth and it’s no surprise that at 95, she is still healthy! Her last American role was in 1980’s When Time Ran Out.
