Lee Grant – 94
Another prolific actor of the 50’s, Lee Grant managed to secure an Oscar nomination on her debut in 1951’s ‘Detective Story’! Unfortunately, her career suffered rough times after being included in the infamous Hollywood blacklist. She made a big comeback in the 60’s and snagged an Academy Award for her performance in 1975’s ‘Shampoo’. Throughout her impressive career, Grant was nominated for a total of 7 Emmys and secured 2 of them! After an absence of over 40 years, Grant returned to the stage to star in The Gin Game, which is part of a benefit for Island Music Guild improvement programs.
