Gavin MacLeod – 88
Gavin MacLeod of ‘The Love Boat’ fame has been a household name for 6 decades, with credits in ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ and ‘McHale’s Navy’ to name a few. Over the course of his career, Gavin has amassed $10 million from his work in film and TV and the sale of his books as an author—a fortune that he now enjoys in retirement. He also spends his days preaching Christianity and participating in religious activism. MacLeod has made appearances as a guest on a number of talk shows, and variety programs.
Valerie Harper – 79
Valerie Harper, like a few other celebrities on the list namely Cloris Leachman and Ed Asner, came to fame on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’. She found her way into Hollywood after that and appeared in spin-off series ‘Rhonda’. Later, she was casted as Valerie Hogan in ‘Valerie’. Her career helped her build a $12 million net worth and in the 70’s and 80’s Valerie was an avid activist for the Women’s Liberation Movement. Sadly, she fell ill in 2009 when she was diagnosed with brain cancer, and the doctors determined that it was terminal. Still battling cancer in 2016, she appeared in short film ‘My Mom and The Girl’. Despite being told that she only had 3 months left to live, Valerie persevered and 5 years later she is still going strong.
Barry Williams – 65
The handsome young Barry Williams were the talk of the teen in the 60’s when he starred as Brady’s eldest son, Greg Brady in the famous ABC television series, The Brady Bunch. This famous actor was also a singer due to his amazing voice and was involved in few musical theater such as West Side Story, Grease and The Sound of Music. After The Brady Bunch series ended, Barry career was slow but he appeared in several television shows and movies like Hollywood 7, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and The Asylum Mockbuster. Although we rarely see Brady in television now, he is actually still active as both actor and a singer.
