Katy Perry is a well-known singer and songwriter who rose to fame with her second studio album One of the Boys, in 2008. But what many don’t know is that before that, in 2001, she released an album titled Katy Hudson (Katy’s birth name), but it was commercially unsuccessful.

Katy has so far sold over 140 million albums and records and has been a judge on American Idol, as of 2018. In 2017, Katy reportedly bought a secluded estate in Beverly Hills, worth $18M, while prior to that, she listed her Los Angeles luxury house for sale for $9.5M. The four-bedroom 6-bathroom home was reportedly built in 1922.
