Iris Apfel has never subscribed to the idea that less is more. For her, more is necessary and less is, well, boring. Known as a geriatric starlet in the fashion circle with a flamboyant sense of style, Iris has never followed the crowd. As a textile designer, she has worked with the ‘White House’ catering to nine presidencies.
A century on earth has made Iris nonchalant about age. In 2021, the fashion icon celebrated her birthday by throwing a big party in the sky at the Central Park Tower, decked fabulously in bright yellow ruffles designed by her. We should take notes on how to live our life to the fullest.
