When actor David Birney started appearing on-screen in the sixties, he immediately made women’s hearts skip a beat. His debut on the soap opera Love Is a Many Splendid Thing in 1967 was well-received, and from then on, his career in television, film, and theater went forward in leaps and bounds!
Unfortunately, David’s health took a turn for the worst when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2017. According to his friends, the now-retired actor can still converse with them and his longtime companion, Michelle Roberge. It’s sad to think that such a talented performer has to go through this, but we’re glad he is still around!
Archie Manning – 71
Archie Manning was America’s Superstar Quarterback in the ’70s. He was a well-known professional athlete who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. Throughout his career in football, he only played for 3 teams, which were the New Orleans Saints, the Houston Oilers, and the Minnesota Vikings.

He retired in 1982, leaving his team midway through the season. Afterward, he worked as an analyst with the Saint’s radio and television broadcasts and even appeared in a few commercials. He was also at one point on the College Football Playoff Committee and now owns a football-themed restaurant named after him – Manning’s.
Barbi Benton – 70

Barbi Benton is multi-talented. She is well-known for appearing in a famous adult magazine. Barbie started modelling as early as she was 16 and at 18, she started taking more jobs and appearing in a famous adult magazine. Barbi Benton then began a relationship with Hugh Hefner and that was when she changed her named from Barbara Klein to Barbi Benton. She then started acting ad became a regular in a comedy series, Hee Haw but later left to find more better opportunities. Barbi then retired in 1986 after she married George Gradow to focus on her family life.

Sir David Attenborough is amongst the most respected welfare activists in the United Kingdom. Some of his work includes BBC’s ‘Blue Planet’ as well as natural history and animal-centric programs. The series received critical acclaim with its vivid videography and showcase of nature. A self-described ‘lover of nature, people, and animals’, he has also worked with the Refugee Children’s Movement. Fans are also shocked to find out that David looked really handsome when he was young. In 2013, Attenborough had a pacemaker fitted in, but he wasn’t keen on giving up his work. It entails so much beauty and is so captivating that he seems to want to continue until his last breath!
Petula Clark – 88

An incredible women whose career has existed since the World War II, Petula Clark is a living proof that pure talent and hard work can indeed get you far. Aside from singing in English, she can also sing in French, which contributed to her fame in France. She is best known for her hit songs such as Downtown, I Know A Place, My Love, I Couldn’t Live Without Yur Love, Colour My World, and many others that helped contribute to her success in music. After more than seven decades in the industry, it is safe to say that Petula Clark is nothing short of legendary.
Prunella Scales – 89
We may remember the beautiful Prunella Scales as Sybil in Fawlty Towers, but it was the power-packed performance as Queen Elizabeth II in A Question of Attribution that earned her a BAFTA nomination. The iconic actress who is in her late 80s has been battling Alzheimer’s since 2014.

Despite not being able to remember things, Scales is still faring well in the entertainment business. A testament to this fact is the 2019 documentary series Great Canal Journeys, wherein she starred alongside her husband Timothy West. She may be losing her memory, but we can never forget the legend.
Greg Baker – 53
Gregory Baker was best known to teens as Miley Stewart’s history teacher on Hannah Montana, Disney‘s smash hit show. Another one of his better-known projects is Sports Night, where Baker played the role of a producer named Elliot.

However, despite having gifted talents, he never had a regular stream of screen space. After a few appearances in 2012 and playing the lead role as Burger Pitt in the series I’m in the Band, it looks like Baker has taken early retirement from the showbiz, only to enjoy his days in peace and contentment.
Michael Crawford – 79
Michael Crawford was one of the most popular stars for half a century and a major box office sensation. The Phantom of the Opera actor who is in his late 70s has the looks and fitness of a man 30 years younger. Be it TV series or films, it has always been a treat to watch him on screen. A little-known fact about this golden era star is that being on TV was never her ambition. Back in the day, she wanted to join the army. We are glad that the gorgeous lady ended up in the entertainment industry, else we would have missed this phenomenal talent.

Vera Int-Veen is a woman of many talents! From studying law and political science to having an illustrious career in television shows, she has jumped many lanes to get to where she is today! Not only this, but Vera is also a published author of two books named Essen Sie doch, was Sie wollen, Pia und der Glückskäfer, which came out in 2001 and 2002, respectively.

Currently, the star is working as a producer for the shows Schwiegertochter gesucht and Helfer mit Herz while enjoying life with her loving partner, Obi.

Ann-Margret Olsson is a Swedish native who relocated to the United States in 1946. Her resume as an actress is extremely respectable, starring in films like ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ and ‘Viva Las Vegas’. Over the course of her career, Ann-Margret has won a total of 5 Golden Globes and built up a net worth of $20 million. There were even rumours that she had a relationship with Elvis Presley whom she was filming ‘Viva Las Vegas’ with. Nothing concrete came from that, and she went on to marry Roger Smith until his passing.

She started her career in ‘The Patridge Family’, playing the character of Laurie Patridge when she was only 17. Susan had no acting experience prior to ‘The Patridge Family’ although she definitely possesses the talent. Her faultless looks and impressive talents netted her several Golden Globe nominations. She was also rumoured to be crushing on her on screen brother, David Cassidy. They tried things out for a bit and decided it didn’t work out, and Susan ended up marring her agent. To this day, Susan remains as flawless as she did in her younger days!

Originally a fashion model, Tippi did not plan to enter the film industry until she was approached by Alfred Hitchcock. She started acting in the ’60s, appearing in films such as Marnie and The Birds. Her career enabled her to amass around $20 million fortune.

Her personal life, however, is not all sunshine and blue skies. Hedren suffered from severe headaches, which affected her ability to work and only after she had a titanium plate placed in her neck, she slowly came back to acting. Tippi was married three times and engaged once. Today, she spends her time petitioning for animal rights.

The multi-talented Diana Ross is the lead singer to a group name The Supremes and it make her rose to fame. They became sensational in the 60s and are the all time best selling group of girls. But it was not long till Diana decided to go solo and released her own album. Her solo career was also a success. Singing was not the only thing Diana is good at. Diana also went into acting and was nominated for both the Golden Globe Award and Academy Award. Diana is so successful that Billboard magazine named her as “Female Entertainer of the Century”. Now at the age of 76, Diana is still active in both singing and acting. She makes tour every year and her 2020 tour as been pushed to 2021 due to the pandemic.
Matthew Labyorteaux – 53

Matthew Labyorteaux started as a child model and appeared in several commercials from the age of seven. He rose into fame when he took on the role Albert Quinn Ingalls in the television series Little House On The Prairie. He appeared on the show from the year 1978 to 1983. He would later be better known for his voice works especially as the voice of Jaden Yuki and The Supreme King, both of which are the characters from the Japanese anime Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Apart from acting, Matthew has special skills in playing video games and his expertise was recognised on international level. He is less active now as he is nearing his 60’s but fans will always remember him for all the roles he played in his younger years.

Eva Brenner is an activist, a talented interior designer, and a television artist, all packed into one! You may know her from the hit show Home in Luck featured on RTL II from 2005 to 2019 or when she presented a documentary on German immigrants.

Despite being a busy woman and having dipped her toes in varied professions, Eva still finds time for humanitarian causes and remained especially active during the floods of 2013. Brenner played an active role in gathering donations and ensuring that help arrived for those who needed it the most!

Alan Alda is best known for his portrayal of Captain Hawkeye Pierce on the TV series M*A*S*H. After a period of staying out of the spotlight, he regained popularity by landing a role in The West Wing. You may also know him from the time he hosted Scientific American Frontiers, which lasted an impressive 15 years.

Throughout his career, Alan received multiple accolades, including an incredible 7 Emmys and a Golden Globe. Alan also dabbled in directing and writing, adding to his $40 million net worth. She then portrayed the role of Jackie Marone from 2003 to 2012 in the long-running CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Down has spoken about the indecent misconduct she had to deal with in the industry. She said that she never really enjoyed her acting career because of all those incidents, but she managed to stay on for an impressive 50 years. Now at 64, she attributes her stunning and almost non-aging looks to a healthy lifestyle.
