You may remember him from the movies such as ‘The Sound of Music’, ‘Waterloo’, and ‘The Insiders’, but his eponymous performance came in the 1952 movie ‘Sage Struck’. Plummer only won his Academy Award when he was 82! Other than in TV and film, Plummer has spent some time of his career in documentary work, as in 30 Minutes, Mister Plummer, and even as presenter of 2004’s The Prime Ministers documentary series.
