Sandie Shaw – Age 77
Sandie Shaw is a retired British singer and psychotherapist who achieved great success in the 1960s music industry. She had three U.K. number one singles and her song Puppet On A String became the first British song to enter the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2013, Shaw announced her retirement from music.
Born in England, she attended Robert Clack Technical School in Dagenham and upon graduation began working at a factory and as a part-time model. It was Adam Faith who first noticed her talent and introduced her to the world of music.
