Kanye West – Mercedes SLR, Estimated $850K

The latest studio album by rapper Kanye West was released in 2018 and was titled, Ye. West puts some of the cash towards projects like getting all his family’s motor vehicles to carry armor so they can be protected while on the move. He spent $2.5M doing this. One of the vehicles is the one he loves the most. It’s a Mercedes SLR, for which the car insurance is rather steep. It has a V8 SLR M155 supercharged engine and goes from zero to sixty mph in only 3.6 secs. Another way that Kanye spent his cash was to give $10M in January 2019 toward James Turrell’s art installation at Roden Crater.
