Richard Chamberlain – 86
A man of rugged good looks, Richard Chamberlain was made for Hollywood stardom. Born and raised in Beverly Hills, his first major role in a television series ‘The Thorn Birds’ which swooned the hearts of women across America. Coupled with his bubbly personality, Keith continually received roles in big budgeted films and series in the following years. In 2018 he took on the role of ‘Dr. Mirari’ in Nightmare Cinema, and before that, as the voice of ‘Highfather’ in Justice League: Gods and Monsters of 2015. He has also dabbled in a bit of music during his career.
Jack Rader – Now 101
In the mid-’60s, Jack Rader was a seasonal actor who taught at Columbia’s College theater. He has acted in several shows such as ‘Picket Fences’ and as a sinister imperial guard in ‘The Star Wars Holiday Special’ of 1978. The talented actor also appeared as a detective in ‘Amityville: The Evil Escapes.’
His theater experience added to his vast acting repertoire, one of them as a shopkeeper in the 1989 play ‘Copy Desk.’ Jack’s last known appearance was in 2004 as a priest in an episode of ‘Medical Investigation.’ We hope the yesteryear actor keeps good health and enjoys his retirement surrounded by family.
Ray Anthony – Now 100
It looks like Ray Anthony had music in his veins since birth, as he knew pretty early in life that he wanted to become a musician. He was five when he started learning to play the trumpet. In 1940, the talented teen joined the famous swing dance band ‘Glenn Miller Orchestra’ for a year or two before joining the navy, where he spent his spare time writing music.
In the early ’50s, Ray formed his band ‘Ray Anthony Orchestra,’ taking it to great heights with hits like ‘The Bunny Hop’ and ‘At Last.’ Over the years, he has also acted in films and television. Age is not a deterrent; he still produces foot-tapping music as a bandleader.
