Sophia Lauren was born in Italy where she first stepped foot in the entertainment industry as a model. Her first modelling experience came at age 15, when she participated in a beauty pagent. The same year, she decided to take on the trade as an actress. Her fame rose to prominence when she signed a contract with Paramount Pictures at 21 years old. She took roles in many movies and productions, most notably ‘It Started in Naples’ and ‘The Pride and The Passion’. Her career amassed her an impressive $75 million and now at 85 years old, she still occasionally pops up at red carpet events. However, as expected of anyone growing older, she prefers to live out of the spotlight and in peace.
